On Military Spending

These were some interesting stories on RT today.

Perhaps the only thing surprising out of these was that only 51% of Americans want to cut military spending. Granted, that's a SIGNIFICANTLY higher proportion than even just a year ago, but I don't understand how anyone can realize how absurd military and pentagon spending in this country is and not be supportive of cutting it.

Oh wait, most people -don't- realize how absurd it is... they're too busy watching American Idol, and the mainstream media is too busy reporting on Charlie Sheen to talk about anything important.

And yes, even though those last two videos start the same way, they have different interviews.

Somewhere, Eisenhower is out there saying "I told you so".
